On behalf of our Management Team, welcome to HSMM. I thank you for your interest in learning more about HSMM and invite you to explore the many interesting facets of our firm.
HSMM’s dedicated professionals continually add new luster to our portfolio of challenging and significant projects. For more than six decades, generations of HSMM professional and support personnel have dedicated themselves to bringing quality, award-winning architectural and engineering solutions to our varied client base. More than any other factor, our reputation for quality and integrity has been responsible for HSMM’s continued growth and success. Today, we employ more than 660 professionals in 22 offices across the United States and are ranked among the country’s leading design firms.
HSMM is organized around five business units:
- Buildings - Providing excellence in the design of Office & Interior Environments, Military Programs, Industry & Technology, Justice & Public Safety, Education & Community, and Health & Sciences.
- Civil & Environmental - Offering sound environmental solutions to municipalities and industry in all aspects of Civil Engineering, Wastewater Treatment & Collection, Water Treatment, Storage & Distribution, Solid Waste Management, and Environmental Sciences.
- Transportation - Planning and designing infrastructure improvements in Highways, Bridges, Rail Systems, Natural Systems, and Traffic Engineering.
- Watershed Concepts - Providing comprehensive services in water resources management, including Floodplain Analysis, Stormwater Management, Surface Water Quality, and Information Technology/GIS.
- CTA Communications - Serving public and private sector clients with communications engineering consulting services in Two-Way Radio, Data Communications, Microwave & Fiber, Telephone & E9-1-1, and CAD/GIS Planning & Implementation.
Historically, this business unit diversity has allowed HSMM to weather the cyclic nature of our industry, maintain steady employment and solid financial health, and continue to grow.
In 2007, HSMM merged with AECOM Technology Corporation, a global company providing technical and management support services to a broad range of markets, including transportation, facilities and environmental. With more than 32,000 employees around the world and clients located in over 60 countries, AECOM is a leader in all of the key markets that it serves.
