WDBJ-7 Television Broadcast Headquarters Facility
Roanoke, VA
WDBJ Television had outgrown its existing headquarters building and needed a facility that could accommodate the latest broadcast technologies, including digital television. HSMM designed a new 45,000 SF building that houses the station's broadcast studios, newsroom, community room, conference room, administrative offices, sales offices and engineering operations. The building's design reflects the station's high-profile status in the community, and with its combination of timelessness and high-tech, has become a signature structure in the Roanoke Valley.
