HSMM completed many projects for the facility, providing planning, program development, certificate-of-need assistance, design, construction administration, and project representation services. The latest project is the addition of the new Pettit tower and renovation of the hospital's existing mechanical systems.

The 8-story, 120,000 SF Pettit Tower houses key treatment areas including an oncology center with linear accelerators, emergency care, a women's hospital, pediatrics, nephrology, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary function rehabilitation, and a rehabilitation center, among others. HSMM's detailed, phased program for the transfer of functions from the existing hospital to the tower resulted in a smooth transition with minimum disruption of the hospital day-to-day operation. |
