From urban green space, to highway landscapes, from business parks to wetlands reclamation, land planning and design is familiar territory for HSMM.  For nearly six decades, we have provided full master planning and design services across a broad spectrum of needs for public and private clients. Our land planning and design specialists work with local governments and organizations to develop comprehensive master plans, urban design projects, parks and trails, streetscapes, traffic engineering plans, and land-use planning projects.

Our services go beyond the traditional, as we partner with our clients to conduct community design workshops and consensus-building public forums, coordinate media coverage, work with government agencies, and make presentations to review boards and interest groups.
