The City of Greensboro needed a softball complex that could accommodate large tournaments and league competition. HSMM provided planning, design, bidding assistance, and construction administration services to the City for a new 36-acre park complex. The park offers four lighted softball fields, a concession/press box building, soccer/multi-use field, a large parking area, picnic shelters, and a bio-retention area.

In addition to sports facilities, the park contains a passive recreation area and lake. HSMM worked closely with City staff to develop this section of the park that will have walking paths, seating areas and picnic areas. The development will connect to the City's existing greenway system. |
