HSMM provided mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering services, while Hellmuth, Obata + Kassabaum, P.C. (HOK) served as the architect-of-record for the Hampton Crossroads Convention Center.
Considered the heart of the Hampton Convention Center Program, the new convention center is a 315,000-square-foot building located on a portion of the 150 acres of city-owned land surrounding the existing Hampton Crossroads Coliseum. The facility includes a pedestrian bridge link to an anticipated 325-room hotel located on an adjacent site.
